1932 Chinet licensing agreement with Keyes Fibre Co. of Waterville Maine

1933 Canadian Keyes Fibre Company Limited incorporated

1934 Began to produce "Paprus" pie plates & cake circles

1947 New factory operation opened in Hantsport with improved machinery

1950s Became a supplier to self-serve supermarkets of sturdy, inexpensive pulp trays and containers

1960's

1960's Backyard BBQ trend led to improvements in Chinet picnic plates. CKF became the leading manufacturer of moulded pulp products in the Canadian market

1967 John Jodrey appointed as President

1969 Launch of the Royal Chinet line of top quality moulded pulp tableware New machinery installed to deliver harder & smoother finish

1970's

1970's Fast food restaurant chains create demand for single-use tableware

1973 John J. Jodrey appointed as Chairman of the Board

1980's

1982 Name changed from Canadian Keyes Fibre Company Limited to the bi-lingual CKF Inc.

1983 Royal Chinet Holly design launched regionally

1985 Microwaveable Royal Chinet launched Royal Chinet bowls launched

1986 Bruce J. Jodrey appointed as Vice Chairman

1988 Royal Chinet Club Packs launched

1989 John J. Jodrey retired as Chairman of the Board & appointed Honorary Chairman. Bruce J. Jodrey appointed as Chairman and CEO Royal Chinet Sunglow design pattern launched

1990's

1990 Royal Chinet larger 40 count packs launched

1993 Royal Chinet 125 count packs launched

2000 Onward

2000 New magazine advertising launched and wins awards from Marketing Magazine, the One Show and the Advertising & Design Club of Canada.

2005 Launch of NEW Celebrations rim design Royal Chinet logo updated with a red Maple Leaf to celebrate the brand's Canadian roots.
